Dominic Sanfilippo, MD, is the executive medical director at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. He is responsible for planning and directing policies, clinical programs, clinical activities and management of medical staff relations for West Michigan's largest children's hospital. He also serves as division chief for pediatric critical care medicine, a position he has held for more than 18 years.
Sanfilippo earned a medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his residency at Children's Hospital of Michigan. Following residency, he completed fellowships in pediatric critical care at Children's Hospital of Michigan and Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Sanfilippo has served on numerous statewide, community and hospital committees, and is presently the medical director of the Michigan Society for Respiratory Care. |
