Essentials of Health Care for Infants and Children

Purpose

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is pleased to offer this exciting educational opportunity. The Essentials of Health Care for Infants and Children conference will provide neonatal and pediatric nurses, respiratory therapists, child life specialists and social workers with evidence-based information to help them care for infants and children in the acute care, critical care, emergency, surgical and community settings.

This conference focuses on professionalism, healthy living in the workplace and the effect on the care of patients and families. Participants can choose a pediatric, neonatal, critical care or emergency tract for the breakout sessions. Presentations will focus on health care trends, information from current literature and evidence-based practice research. Attendees can apply this information to their own professional practice, improving quality of care and patient and family satisfaction.
